Mental Golf Solutions is running a Share Your Story Contest!
If you play golf, without a doubt, you will have a story about how you ended up playing golf, who your favorite golf pro is, and more. You are probably thinking that you do not have a “story” or that you are not a writer and cannot imagine writing enough to enter our Share Your Story contest.
However, think about how much you enjoy sharing details about your latest round with other golfers. It might be all about how you “almost” got an eagle or how you were struggling with your putting and how you overcame that frustrating phase. Check out a little about us to get an idea.
Have you had anyone ask you, “How long have you been golfing?” or “Why do you enjoy golf so much?”. I bet there is a story behind your answer, a story about how someone introduced you to golf, or perhaps you can share what made you stick it through and learn to enjoy the game.
If you quit playing golf tell us why. What made you hate the game or feel you did not want to continue to play it?
In this contest, we will select the most inspiring story to win a $25.00 Amazon gift card.
We will also highlight your story on our website along with other stories submitted in a section called “My Story”. We will make minor edits to your story for any typos but you will be able to share it with your friends with pride.
Share Your Story and Inspire Others
During the Masters week, all you have to do is turn on the Golf Channel or local news to hear about the upcoming events at Augusta and hear the familiar names, such as Bubba Watson, Jordan Speith, Steve Strickler, Tiger Wood and others.
It can be very inspiring to hear the stories about the various Pro golfers and how they came to play the game of golf. Some of those stories are very interesting and help us see the “human” side of these Pro golfers.
The inspiration that comes from hearing the trials and the victories of these great players is why we encourage you to share your own.
Inspire that new golfer that wants to quit!
Something you share might inspire that new golfer to stick to the game of golf instead of giving up on it. It can be as simple as something you do that makes you want to go back time and time again. It is a game that we can play well into our old age. In fact, during this Covid virus, golf has been the only outdoor activity we have enjoyed.
We want to hear your story. Don’t be shy. Be part of inspiring and motivating others. Consider it a mentoring of sorts so that others learn to love the game as you do.
The contest will run for the next 2 months from 2/1/2021 – 4/1/2021.
Here is what you need to do. Send us an email with your story to Admin@mentalgolfsolutions.com.
Below are some ideas of what you can include in your story.
